MirrorMi Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

MirrorMi respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information MirrorMi collects, how it is collected, how it is used, whether it is shared with third parties, and how it is protected when you use the MirrorMi mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

MirrorMi only collects information voluntarily provided by users in order to deliver the core functionality of the app.

User-Submitted Photos (Face Data)

Users may voluntarily:

upload a photo from their device photo library, or

• take a photo using the device camera

• for the purpose of generating an AI-powered virtual makeup simulation.

MirrorMi requests access to the device camera and photo library solely so the user can provide a face photo for the requested makeup preview.

MirrorMi does not require account registration and does not collect:

Email address

• Phone number
• Precise location data

• 3. Face Data Collection, Use, and Processing

3.1 Nature of Face Data

Face data refers to the facial features visible in a user-submitted photo that are necessary to analyze facial structure and generate the requested makeup simulation result.

3.2 Purpose of Face Data Processing

Face data is used solely for:

processing the user-submitted face photo,

• analyzing facial features needed for the requested simulation,
• generating the user-requested virtual makeup result

• Face data is not used for:

user identification

• biometric authentication
• advertising or marketing
• tracking or analytics
• behavioral profiling
• training MirrorMi’s own AI models

• 4. Third-Party AI Processing

MirrorMi uses Google Gemini AI services, provided by Google LLC, as a third-party service provider to process user-submitted photos for the sole purpose of generating the requested makeup simulation result.

When a user chooses to generate a makeup simulation:

the selected face photo is securely transmitted to Google Gemini AI for processing,

• the photo is transmitted only after the user has been informed and has provided consent,
• the photo is used only to generate the user-requested makeup simulation result

• MirrorMi does not use user-submitted photos for advertising, analytics, profiling, or AI model training. MirrorMi also does not intentionally authorize any secondary use of the selected photo beyond the requested processing.

Any processing performed by Google Gemini AI is subject to Google’s applicable service terms, privacy commitments, and security practices.

5. Data Storage and Retention

MirrorMi does not intentionally retain user-submitted photos or face data in persistent storage after the requested simulation process is completed.

Photos and face data may exist temporarily during:

upload,

secure transmission,

• active processing,
• short-term caching, or
• limited technical logging necessary for security, reliability, and error handling

• MirrorMi does not store uploaded face photos for ongoing user profiles, marketing, analytics, or unrelated secondary purposes.

6. Data Sharing

MirrorMi does not sell, rent, or disclose user data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

User-submitted face photos may be shared only as strictly necessary to provide the requested app functionality with:

Google Gemini AI (Google LLC), solely for image processing and makeup simulation requested by the user

7. User Consent

Before any selected photo is transmitted to Google Gemini AI for processing, MirrorMi clearly informs the user:

what data is being sent,

who receives the data,

8. Data Security

MirrorMi uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data during transmission and processing, including secure communication methods and restricted access controls where applicable.

9. Children’s Privacy

MirrorMi is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Users may stop using MirrorMi at any time.

Because MirrorMi does not intentionally retain uploaded photos or face data after processing is completed, MirrorMi may not have stored face data available for later access, correction, or deletion requests, except where temporary technical records may briefly exist as part of secure service operation.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected in the app, on the website, or on the relevant app store listing.
